Lucky came to us from San Jose shelter, where he was getting overlooked because of the way his skin looked. When we met this friendly little guy, we knew we could help him both with foster and vet care. Lucky’s hair is growing back and his skin is looking much better, and he’s also feeling better!

Lucky is initially hesitant with new people but he quickly warms up. He is friendly and enjoys being petted, yet he is not needy. He enjoys playing with his toys both alone and with other dogs. He spends the entire day playing with his foster siblings. He gets along nicely with little children. However, he needed to be instructed on how to welcome children because he becomes excited when he first sees them.

Lucky is house-trained and understands how to use the doggy door, though he needs some convincing on rainy days. He enjoys exploring the yard, going for walks, and riding with foster parents to go out of town on weekends. He is a good eater who consumes all of his meals, including vegetables!
