Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Approx age: 6-8 years old
Gordon (ID#21220) was found as a stray and is settling right in to home life. He is super laid-back and likes the comfort of being around his humans. He began his life in his foster home as quite the lazy cat but has been showing off his playful side more each day. He loves chasing a laser pointer or a piece of string, and even just batting around an old candy wrapper.
Gordon would make a great companion. You can expect him to sleep at the foot of your bed every night, and follow you around throughout the day. He isn't always pushing for attention though, sometimes he just likes the security of knowing that someone is nearby.
Gordon has not been around other cats or dogs. His foster home has two children ages 11 and 13 and he gets along great with them. Gordon has also tested positive for FIV but is in good health
All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80
Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.
If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
