Frankie
8-9 Year Old Male
Chihuahua Mix
Kids: OK with kids 10 years and older
Dogs: Good with other dogs
Frankie's owners had to go into care and could no longer take care of him.
He was adopted from Maricopa County Shelter at about 1 yr old. He was skin and bones and had been hit by a car. His rear leg had to be amputated.
He enjoys the company of other dogs thought he may mark if another male dog is in the home. He is otherwise housebroken and crate trained.
Frankie would do well with one or more other dogs in the house. He can be anxious if he is unsure what to do, where to go. He spins around when he knows he is going to be picked up and makes it easy for you to do so. His potty stances are a hoot.
Frankie is an acrobat! He can walk on his front legs with ease! He is a bright, active little guy who will easily fit in.
