Meet Extremely handsome crop eared bully boy Nellie! He came to Underdog last week from Martinez. Unfortunately, he had ran out of time at the shelter and was quite shut down. After just a week in foster care he is thriving. He is just a big puppy who loves to play. He’s about 70 pounds and still a bit under weight. He has gorgeous markings and is extremely attentive. He is smart and eager to please. He would greatly benefit from someone willing to put in the work and continue with training and social skills. He does pull on the leash out of pure excitement he has like to everyone he has met. We think he would make an awesome active companion and family dog. He would do best for children over five years old since he will knock over smaller children.
Thank you for reading about our awesome dog. All dogs came to us from different situations and we often do not know much about their past, but they are rescue dogs who deserve a second chance and need patience on their journey. All of our dogs our are in foster homes all across the bay area.
The first step of the process is you must submit an application in order to set up a meet and great or talk with the foster family. Once application is submitted the foster parents will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit and can answer any further question. The application answers most of all of our questions and can best match you. If you do not get the dog you apply for we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care and simply forward your app to that foster parent.

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/ Neutered, Micro chipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.
