My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

?? Lena`s Christmas Wish! ??
It’s that magical time of year when every dog and cat at Northwoods Humane Society crosses their paws, hoping for a Christmas Miracle—a forever home to call their own. And Lena is no exception!
Meet Lena, a stunning, jet-black, 3-year-old Lab/Bully mix with a personality as bright as holiday lights! ? Lena’s got it all:
?? Happy and outgoing vibes
?? Loves people and would adore a home with older, respectful kids
?? Fully housetrained
?? Enjoys walks and romping in the yard
Lena’s playful energy is perfect for an active family, and she’s ready to be your loyal companion through snowy adventures and cozy evenings by the fire. ??
?? Ready to make Lena’s holiday dreams come true? Visit northwoodshumanesociety.org, click on the Adoptable Animals page, and fill out the dog adoption form. Once submitted, our canine team will reach out to set up a meet-and-greet with this lovely lady.
Make this Christmas unforgettable—for Lena and for you! ????

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

NHS works to place animals in good, loving homes. Potential families must complete a pre-adoption application. References are required and checked. There may be a 24 to 48 hour waiting period before adoption is finalized. All responsible adults in the family must be in agreement. The goal of NHS is for each adoption to be permanent.
