Some of you may remember Chance and his story. For those of you who don't you can read it here (https://www.facebook.com/CHCRescue/posts/126229063127124). Chance has been through a lot more than any animal should in his life. He has diabetes and it was untreated for years, this resulted in diabetic neuropathy to his back legs. When he first arrived, he would drag his back legs when he was trying to move around.

The good news is Chance is doing fantastic. We have done everything we can for him medically. His blood sugar is stable, he eats and drinks like a champ and his mobility has improved dramatically! The last kindness we can do for Chance is give him a home where he is the center of someone's world.

Chance is now in a foster home on his own and thriving. He needs to be the only cat in the home as he was in a foster home with other cats and it overwhelmed him. Since going to a foster where he is the only cat he is much happier!

Chance will require 2 insulin injections a day to keep him healthy. He also requires special diabetic food (wet and kibble) that can only be purchased through a veterinarian. His insulin costs $18 a month and his food costs approximately $120 per month for both wet and dry.
