Casper (Adopted Feb 2015)
Casper and his two siblings were rescued by a fireman during an alleged arson fire. Casper, Sally, and Sugar were quite worse for wear when first turned into a local shelter. After a long recovery, it was discovered that all three needed critical dental care, but the animal shelter did not have the financial resources to pay for the surgeries. FOCR agreed to assume their care and all three were taken in and fostered. Casper has suffered the worst and, due to long-term malnutrition which affected his eye sight, he is partially blind.
Casper has a very gentle and docile nature. Casper arrived at his foster home as a timid little skitter bug but he has gained comfort and confidence and is very affectionate and playful. Casper loves chasing treats! Casper’s favorite place to sleep during the day is on top of the cat condo with the sun shining on him; at night Casper likes to cuddle into the back of his mum’s legs midway on the bed. Casper is the fun leader; getting all the cats playing with all the toys. Casper is mainly white with black/gray markings on his head and end of his tail. Casper has bonded with his two foster siblings and is being adopted by his Foster mum to a forever home.
Casper’s adoption fee is $175.00. He is up-to-date on vaccines, including rabies, has been neutered, microchipped and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
He also comes with 6 weeks of pet insurance.
