Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Zee.
How did I get my odd and interesting name? Maybe it’s my zebra-like stripes because I’m a Harlequin breed of rabbit. Or that when I’m happy and excited, my binks and zoomies zig-zag. Or after all that excitement, I relax on my belly with my feet sticking straight out behind me and zzzz….
I’m a rotund, snuggly rabbit who will melt when you hold me. I’ll chatter my teeth which is a rabbit’s way of purring. I’m affectionate and sweet.
Although I’m a young rabbit, my litter box habits are perfect. I keep my area clean and organized, positioning my blankets and toys just so. But chewing up cardboard is my all-time favorite past-time and you will have to clean up all those loose bits.
I enjoy mixed salad greens and lots of hay, but I’m rather picky about my pellets. I especially love bits of fruit including bananas, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and apples.
I am one of four joyful Harlequin boys born to Betty who was rescued by MCRS after being abandoned in a city park. My brother Dory and I along with our mom Betty are longing for our forever home.
If you think I sound interesting, send an email to MCRS at --> info@mncompanionrabbit.org
You can complete an application at --> https://www.mncompanionrabbit.org/adoption-application
All MCRS rabbits are sterilized and vaccinated against RHDV2. Thank you for your interest in adopting a homeless rabbit!
