Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Ida and my foster mom calls me an absolute gem. Why? Oh, maybe it's because I am very brave and I tolerate lots of activity in a busy home. Or it could be because of how cute I am in the mornings, I climb the stairs to greet my foster family. At dinner time, I climb on top of my crate so I can see exactly where the food is. Since I am super social and enjoy meeting new humans, I would be great for a first-time bunny adopter. I haven't met a dog or a cat, I am not sure what I think of them.
I love toys, the more the better. Some of the ones I really like to play with are wicker balls and baskets (no sealant please), fleece blankets, stuffed animals, tossing plastic balls/rattles, cardboard and tunnels. Oh and if I can jump on it and watch my humans the better.
Snacks are always a good idea. The greens I really enjoy are cilantro, parsley, arugula, and Romain. Blueberries and craisins are nummy fruits.
I do require extra bunny proofing of the area where I play. If you need help/pointers, MCRS can always assist with this. They know all the ins and outs of what is bunny safe. I also like to keep my litter box area in tip-top shape, I have very good litter box habits.
Unlike most bunnies, I am very tolerant of being picked up and held. Just make sure to keep me secure and I will appreciate human hugs. I often run to my foster family members and ask for pets and affection from them. I really enjoy my humans.
