My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Penny (black and white), and this is my sister, Dolly! We are the sweetest (and smartest) bunnies you’ll ever meet! We are best friends and love to do everything together. We sleep together, eat together, play together, and even explore together. We can be a bit shy at first, but after a few days, we will warm up to you and your environment. After we get used to you, we are very smart and have lots of tricks! So far, we know high five, perch (we put our paws on your hand), spin, and stand. We can solve puzzle toys and feeders too. We LOVE food and treats, so maybe you can teach us a new trick using them!

When we arrived, we were quite big and had some trouble with our weight. We were also very shy. But guess what...now we are back to a healthy weight (about 7.5 lbs each) and are so much happier! We have more energy and love to be around people now. We love being pet too! While we love time with you and attention, we are also very content with just each other.

You might need a slightly bigger pen than normal to fit us both comfortably, and we also like a bigger litter box that fits us both. Other than that, we use normal rabbit things. We love hideouts like cardboard boxes, wooden hides, and dark corners. Our favorite toys are ones we can chew, destroy, or that have food inside! We get so excited when we get to explore and will do lots of binkies and zoomies, as long as we can go back to a place we know when we want to.

It’s always a good idea to bunny proof for any rabbits, and we are no exception. Our foster mom says that you should protect any wood and corners with packing tape, since once it’s there we never even try to chew it anymore. I hope you will think about giving us a chance in your home and heart!

We look forward to meeting you.
