Pepper is a 2 year old spayed female Catahoula mix. She weighs 57 lbs. From her foster - "Ms. Pepper is an awesome girl. Our cat has walked by her a couple times and she didn't notice. Been face to face and follows the cat upstairs. If the cat runs she will run after her but if the cat stops she stops. She will also break the stare first and walk away. Also, we have birds in the yard waiting the food and she didn't chased them. She was quiet in crate all night. She goes outside to do her business. Very friendly, quiet, affectionate, "lap" dog -lol. No resource guarding at all - food, treats and toys. Very happy pup"
Pepper is very friendly with people and other dogs. She loves to play and can get a little rough, but corrects well when a person reminds her to go easy. Very good natured dog! High energy, needs an active family. Will need leash and recall work - experience with Catahoulas and similar breeds preferred. Good with resources. Positive toy and food drive, very gentle taking food.

Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies 6 months and under are a minimum donation of $525, 6+months are a minimum donation of $450, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $350 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.
This dog is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue centered in Bonifay and Panama City, FL (NY Lic #1054). This dog is currently in NY. The minimum donation $450 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, de-worm, flea prevention, heartworm prevention and martingale safety collar.
