Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nick "Kris Kringle" is a 1 year old neutered male Basset Hound mix. He weighs 38 lbs. Update from his foster - "He is a very happy, affectionate love bug, couch potato. Will go and stand by the door to go out to do his business. Went in crate and slept all night, no fuss. He is super easy going. He would make a great family dog. Good with our cat. He is a gentle, sweet guy therefore I think he would be great with young children. However his tail may get you lol. He hardly stops wagging it. He enjoys your company and snuggling with you. He has toy engagement. Nick is very food motivated. He is a gentleman with food and treats. Will sit and will gladly come to you. Likes the outdoors. No food, toy or resource guarding. Overall very well balanced guy."
Nick is very friendly and calm. He is mild mannered and knows the basics of being polite around people. He is a foodie! Loves his treats. May jump up on counters to search for food or take out of kids' hands. Best with kids 10+ or younger, dog savvy kids. Higher energy. Good with other dogs - play style = chaser, playful. Good with resources. Positive toy drive and strong food drive, prefers treats to toys.
