My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Sawyer. Big giant orange lover boy. Can be shy but warms up really quick. Loves to play but has a lazy side. He’s a snuggler in bed and loves to be on laps. He can be talkative. He also gives love nips and can be mouthy when playing! He’s mostly a dry food eater but likes wet occasionally. He purrs very loud and makes big biscuits. He has a birth brother Bernard who is a true tuxedo. They are semi bonded and can go separate or together. Sawyer has hypothyroidism and needs a pill 2X per day.

Additional adoption info

We have an application that we will send you via e-mail. Once we receive that we will call you for a phone interview. We also have a contract that you must sign. We reserve the right to do a home inspection before and after the adoption. Our adoption fees are $100/ kitten or $150 for a pair. Indoor only household, $50 for cats 1 year or older. We prefer that our fur friends go to indoor-only homes. Some adoptions may have other needs so we will screen them on a case by case basis. Barn cats are available from time to time with a fee of $25 with a minimum of 2. Why 2? We feel that cats are communal and moving them as a family will help them adjust to their new environment better.

Go meet their pets

Since we run the rescue from our private residence, we only give out our address to people we have preapproved to meet one of our potentially adoptable cats. You can get updates, pictures, and videos from our Facebook page or IG. https://www.facebook.com/WhiskMo We can also email more information on a specific cat that you may be interested in adopting.

More about this rescue

We are a small family-based rescue. We run the rescue out of our home. We try to socialize the cats in-house with a lot of people, children, cats and dogs of all sizes. We feel this gives them the best chances of finding a new home.
