Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Goose is a goofy and handsome 2 year old labrador mix looking for his forever home. Goose is neutered, weighs about 60lbs, and is a fun loving, and gentle dog. He is extremely friendly with all humans, and gets along very well with dogs once he gets to know them. Goose loves playing tug and snuggling in bed, but his absolute favorite thing to do is go for a walk. He is fully potty trained, knows how to sit, and has recently been trained to "drop" and "leave" things if he ever gets ahold of anything he is not supposed to have. Because of Goose's size and protective nature, we believe the perfect home for him would be anyone who has an empty nest, children over the age of 16, or no children at all. Goose needs an adopter that is experienced with rescue dogs, and is willing to spend time working on his training. Goose can be somewhat protective with other dogs and gets jealous when others receive attention. He is a very vocal dog when he plays. This is just part of his personality. He requires continued training on how to keep his paws on the ground when he gets excited for a walk or when he is greeting people (he likes to jump up and give everyone a hug when they walk in the door). Goose's fosters have been working with him on leash training, "leave it", and "drop it". He's an extremely intelligent dog and a quick learner. To recap, Goose will need a home with a confident and assertive, experienced adopter that has no children under 16 in the home. Goose can get along very well with other dogs, and is currently residing with another foster dog. We know he just needs that special someone willing to devote their time and attention to his needs.
