12/31 UPDATE: - Zane is still working with his foster mom and a trainer to work on being calmer when passing order dogs. Zane is really good at redirecting his attention and going the other direction when another dog is spotted. All the low calorie treats he gets has slowed his wight loss a little bit but he is still down 10 pounds from entering the rescue.
I am potty trained, and my foster mom leaves me out all day with no issue. I have a crate that I hang out in every now and then, but I would prefer to be in your personal space if you are home. When I am home alone, I mostly lay on the couch and bark at people outside or sleep right on my mommy’s pillow’s. I do not surf the countertops but one time I did eat an entire gingerbread house that mommy left on the table way to close to the edge. It was practically calling for me to eat it!
Even though I am reactive when seeing other dogs, I love ALL HUMANS from little kids to the neighbor lady who is 84 years old. I would prefer to be your 90 pound lap dog and still all of your attention. On days when my foster mommy has a hard time I am really good at being her emotional support. Heck, I personally think I would make an amazing support animal for anyone who is looking for that additional love in their life.
