My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chinchilla A233270

Female - 2 years old
Came in 9/24/21 as a Stray

Chinchilla came to us skinny and timid. She’s been let down by humans repeatedly but after some time to adjust to the shelter and realizing food is abundant, Chinchilla opened up. She’s actually quite engaging now. Sometimes the leash makes her nervous to put on but that is really her only hiccup. Chinchilla knows volunteers have snacks and she can be jumpy when she wants attention. She will hold on in a hug position but it’s more about getting leverage to stick her snoot in our treat bag than the cuddle. We think it’s adorable. Chinchilla knows some commands and takes treats relatively well for how thin she is. She affectionate with her slobbery kisses and doesn’t mind the same in return. Besides being beautiful Chinchilla has a solid disposition with us so far too.
