~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~
Health: He had a tumor removed from his chest. It has healed great and needs no further medical. No other obvious issues found during vet exam~~~~~~~~~~~
Temperament: Rascal is a love bug and wants to be near you at all times. He is great for someone who is home a lot and will love having him close by.
He is crazy about his toys and will play with every single one of them.
He has the best fur with the longest tail I've ever seen on a Pom.
He walks great on a leash and enjoys long walks as often as possible. He loves to go for car rides and to go on store visits where dogs are allowed. He's great for trips but not if you plan to leave him alone in a hotel room. He will howl very loudly while you are away from him. He won't be a good choice for an apartment dweller either. ~~~~~~~~~~~
Where did he come from: Owner surrendered him because they plan to travel a lot and stay in hotels. He doesn't do well when they leave him alone so he does not meet their travel needs. He's not a big fan of being boarded because he will shake a lot from fear. But if you board him with a great resort, I feel like he would adjust just like he has adjusted just fine here with all these dogs in the rescue. ~~~~~~~~~~
Adoption: $400~~~~~
Weight: 13 lbs.~~~~~~~~
DOB: 10-2-2011~~~~~~~~~~
