Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oh my, what a lovely lady…let’s all say “Hello” to Adele.
This sweet, adorable 5 yr old Pit mix of 42lbs comes to Change A Life Dog Rescue from Georgia. Adele came in as a stray, and she was found to be Heartworm positive and very underweight. Adele went through treatment, is on the mend, and gaining weight. Not only is Adele gaining weight, she is gaining fans. Her CT Foster family has wonderful things to say about this sweetheart of a pup.
Adele is crate trained, good with other dogs, ok with cats (she wants to play!) and a lover of her humans. Adele will come to you for pets, hugs and kisses, she just wants to be near her people. Adele is playful, but not hyper. She gets excited about new experiences, loves to go on walks and does just fine in a car. Essentially, Adele is up for adventure…if you are going, she is right behind you! If you are more in the mood for a Netflix binge fest, Adele is on the couch with you. She told me that she will happily share the popcorn- she is not one to guard. Adele loves to play tug with rope toys and will allow you to trade off the toy very easily, no guarding, aggression or mouthiness. In addition to that, this pup is happy to share the couch with you…really, she is diggin’ the comforts of home and we would LOVE to find a home for this girl.
Adele is learning leash skills and is doing great on her harness. She is completely housebroken, and she likes hanging out in her crate. It’s her she shed ??. Adele sleeps in her dog bed and really loves it, she carries it around with her. Most importantly, Adele is available for Adoption to an approved Adopter in CT RI NH and VT. Adele is not a singer like her namesake, she snores a little and makes snorting sounds like a little piglet. But to the Adopter who falls in love with her (and we know you will) this will be music to your ears. Let’s chat about Forever homes, and Adoption.
