Bentley is a 10-MONTH-OLD male 13 lb. tri-color (tan, white, gray) parti Shih Tzu with a gorgeous coat and darling personality. This guy is super sweet and he LOVES being with his people.

Bentley has been living with several other pups in his foster home and LOVES to play. He has a TON of energy (A TON). He did not have much socialization with other dogs in his former home and thus has been learning how to respect boundaries. His foster siblings have been doing a great job at correcting him and he listens very well to their corrections.

He has also learned to use a crate and eats his meals in his crate and sleeps in his crate without fussing. A crate should continue to be used while he learns the ropes in his new home, boundaries, and proper home etiquette.

He has also been learning basic commands and etiquette. This should be continued so he can master his manners. He is very smart and learns very fast. So consistency will go a long way with him.

His former owner reported him being fearful of grooming so our groomer took care. She reported he does not like his face being groomed so she started at the bottom and did his face last. By then he loved her and all was peaceful.

Bentley has been brought UTD, neutered, he is HW negative, and housebroken.

Given his energy level, a fenced in yard is a requirement and preferably another furry friend or two (or more) of the same energy level for him to play with.
