Paxton's adoption donation is $400 and she is being fostered in the Central Ohio area. She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on flea prevention, as well as flea prevention. She will require a home with a secure, physically fenced yard and a companion dog of similar size. Paxton came into rescue from a commercial breeder who abandoned her at a veterinarian to be euthanized. This sweet gal is approximately 5-6 years old and is a shy, timid girl. Lexie loves the freedom of running in the yard and getting to be outside but still does not walk or potty reliably on a leash. Paxie gets along great with other dogs and really looks at the other dogs for guidance. Paxton does well with potty training if kept on a schedule, but it is a work in progress. Like most puppy mill dogs, she will need patience, love and most important time for her to trust.
