Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jenny is a super friendly, loving girl who just wants to be near other dogs and people. She loves to run and play now that she has other doggie friends who will be nice to her. You see, Jenny spent the first two years of her life on the streets in the Corridor of Cruelty, fending for herself for food and being beaten up by other dogs. When volunteers first found her, she was so scared that she wouldn’t come near them. But they slowly gained her trust by feeding her until she started coming right up to them for pets. When they saw the condition she was in — severely underweight, itchy, and missing hair — they knew they had to get her safe. Fortunately for Jenny, it didn’t take long and she’s already learning about being in a safe home. Jenny has figured out that her crate is her safe haven, and she’ll sleep through the night in it and keep it clean. She is even happy to eat in her kennel if necessary, although she prefers to be with her crew. Jenny has shown no signs of food or resource guarding with other animals or with people, and she’s great with her foster family’s 6- and 3-year-old kids. She completely ignores the two family cats as well, much preferring to play with her doggie foster siblings instead. Jenny does come on a little strong at first, so slow introductions are recommended, and she is protective of her crate space and may bark at other dogs when they come near her in her kennel. She is doing great at potty training and hasn’t had any accidents in her foster home, especially after learning doggie doors and potty signals. Jenny is a wonderful girl who deserves the sweet life after all she went through in her first few years. She’ll be loyal to her family and fill your home will love and laughter.
