My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please say hello to Aqua! Aqua is one-year-old and is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. She loves to be in the presence of people and the hustle and bustle of a busy family. If it were up to Aqua she would be held and cuddled all day, she is just so affectionate and loving. A kind and loving girl, she will run over to you as soon as you enter the room, to show how happy she is to see you. Once she has had time to warm up to and trust you, she will let you pick her up and will lay in your lap, where she will stay while you give her all the pets she loves. If your hand is close by, she will give you little kisses. Aqua is very playful and loves to chase her toys and play with anything on a string. Almost as much as she loves pets and playing, she LOVES treats and will come running from afar when she hears the rattle of the bag! When she’s pooped from playing, she loves to cuddle up and enjoy her catnaps on her favourite blanket. Aqua has a special feature in her front paw that she was born with. The vets have confirmed it does not cause her pain or impede her ability to run, jump, scratch or climb. It just adds to her overall cuteness factor. Aqua eats a diet of dry duck food only. Aqua is good with kids, but we are unsure of dogs. Aqua could be ok with another young, cat-friendly cat with a proper introduction. But she would also be just as happy to be your one and only, with someone home a lot to give her all the love she craves.

Aqua came to us as an owner surrender when the family decided they didn’t have enough time for her and the kids lost interest. Even though she wasn’t shown the love she deserved, that hasn’t gotten in the way of her being sweet and affectionate.

Aqua is waiting for a family to give her back the love and kindness she exudes and deserves.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.
