My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuma is looking for her forever home, and wants her future humans to know these things about her,

1. I am a Presa Canario mix, about 9 months old, and I weigh around 60 pounds.
2. I love ALL people, and there's nothing I enjoy more than getting pets and snuggles. I think I would do well in a home with older children since I’m still a puppy and learning how to respect humans space.
4. I'm mostly housebroken and crate trained. I do best being in a crate when I’m alone but I like to be out and about when you’re home.
5. I'm still working on my leash skills, but since I'm a puppy, I'll need my human to be patient and work with me.
6. I LOVE to play with all kinds of toys! I haven’t met a toy that I don’t like.
7. I’m still a puppy and learning how to give people space. I can’t help that sometimes I get really excited, but I’m very good at following directions. With training and lots of treats I can learn how to be a little calmer.
8. I adore being outside and spending time in the sun. Since I love freely running around I would do best in a house with a fenced in backyard where I can roam.
9. I am fully vaccinated and microchipped.

Ready to give Zuma the forever home of her dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at www.bullpenrescue.org under the 'work with us' tab.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
