~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~
Health: Dorothy appears to have cataracts in both her eyes. She has a 1/4 luxating patella on her right rear leg. Dorothy had 2 mammary tumors removed. Vet noted a slight collapsing treachea on her exam. Dorothy was just diagnosed with Congestive heart failure. She is on 3 heart meds which she will be on for the rest of her life. ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****
Temperament: Dorothy is the sweetest girl! She gets along with other dogs. Dorothy is a senior girl who still loves to play with toys! She would love to be spoiled for the rest of her life. She has lived with lots of other dogs in a hoarding situation for all of her life. It's finally her time to shine! Would make a great lap dog. —
Where did she come from: She came in from a hoarding situation in Tennessee.
Adoption: ***** $300.00 ***** Weight: 6.5 lbs. Approximate DOB: 7/12/2012 (The shelter's best guess at her at was 9 but we believe she is closer to 12yrs old.)
