Poor Millie - somehow she missed a whole lot of schooling and is paying for it now.
Apparently her first owner had her in town and didn't teach her a thing.... last owners did try and they love her so much, but this is what they had to say: "She does not respect ANY fence. We have tried. We installed very expensive stand electric high tensile with a bear charger, 6'6". She tests them and finds a spot to dig under or finds a ground. We can't keep her safe from the neighbor's threats to shoot her. She's on a chain now and this is no way for a Pyr to live".
They also said: "She shares her water with cats and chickens. She knows to sit to be greeted and will not jump up. She has EXCELLENT manners. She's a good girl and we love her".
Recently a volunteer took Millie on a long walk and this is her report from that: Millie is a very happy and well behaved girl. She is responsive and attentive with good eye contact and is good around dogs.
We want to find the right new home for her where she can be loved and WANT to stay home - is that your home?
