These are the words of her owner:
Overall, Sylvie is a sweet dog. She is mostly mellow and pretty laid back. She does great hiking and is an excellent trail partner. She is mostly good on a leash, except that occasionally she barks and lunges aggressively toward other dogs. She is very reliably house trained, she loves to get treats, and loves to prance and grab sticks and shake her head and be silly. She does excellent at the dog park and loves to play with other dogs in a neutral space or with submissive or male dogs in her own space/area. She is typically good with other dogs of all sizes, big and small.
As a backstory, her owners got Sylvie in October. Someone posted an ad on Craigslist saying they couldn't keep her because she was "eating their eggs." She had lived her whole life outside, mostly in a kennel. She was in rough shape, as it was obvious she had been neglected. She's super smart and learned potty training right away when they got her. She's about 3 years old now as she was 2 when we got her.
She would be perfect as a farm dog where she has a job. She wants to guard and protect and do her job. She is territorial about her house, her dog bed, and definitely her food.
