Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I didn't get Kona, she came to me... quite literally! Kona is a rescue dog who was dumped in our yard! We were immediate friends and it was obvious she had had a previous owner as she was house trained and knew basic commands. We searched far and wide for her original owner with no luck, so, I kept my new best friend for myself. She is ~2.5 years old, according to the vet.
Kona is a lover. When I first got her, my sister and I called her 'lover' as a nickname because of how sweet she is. She loves everybody! She is playful and fun but rests well when the house is quiet. She is emotionally intelligent and wants to cheer you up if you are sad or not feeling well. She loves hugs and snuggles.
Because she gives so much love, she needs a lot in return. As a nurse and a student, I feel I can't provide the attention and time that she needs from me when I work such long shifts. I know this makes her anxious and I want to find someone who can be around more often.
