She is approximately 8/9 pounds. She came to us heartworm positive and has successfully completed treatment. She is cleared for adoption and will need to remain on preventative for her lifetime.
Monique is the best dog. She has a wonderful disposition. She loves everyone. She loves people, she loves dogs, she loves kids! She is funny and playful and the most affectionate girl in the world. She is doing amazing on her housetraining, only having a few accidents in the house and it's of course when it rains and is really cold. She is trained on the doggy door and she is completely crate trained. She is not a huge barker so apartment life would be just fine with her. She will need some work on her leash training though she can kind of walk on a leash but she hasn’t used it for pottying. If you don’t have a fenced-in yard that will be a work In progress.
Monique does have a small umbilical hernia. The vet said it's small and he did not feel it needed to be repaired at this time. There may be a time in the future that may change but dogs have hernias that never need repair and live long healthy lives. It does not seem to bother her one bit and so we left it alone as advised.
Monique is such an easy-going dog, she can go to almost any home and thrive as long as she is loved. I have never seen Monique unhappy and she just seems to go with the flow wherever life takes her. She will wear clothes if you put them on her with a couple of side eyes, of course, she will snuggle up under the blankets if you want her to, or hit the road for a crazy adventure. You honestly can't go wrong with this dog. She is the total package with that adorable little face, big ears, and that wonderful disposition. If you think You could love Monique forever please apply.
Monique is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated. Her adoption fee is $400
