Animal Profile: Kimber is a beautiful 5-year-old, 54 lb female German Shepherd who was found wandering as a stray and taken to Everett Animal Shelter. When the shelter environment was too stressful for her, we gave her a "jail break" and she's now in our foster care. Kimber has been waiting for a forever home since November 2021. Please share and help her find her forever family!

Foster Update: Kimber is affectionate and bonds quickly with her person. She is looking for an adopter who is experienced with high-energy dogs and is willing to continue working with her. She loves lounging in the house and looking out the windows. Her ideal home environment would be an adult-only household with working breed experience and a securely fenced yard. She has completed a 4-week board and train program with Lugaru K9 Training to address leash reactivity. Kimber can now walk nicely on leash and knows the following commands: sit, down, place, heel and leave it. She's not a candidate for dog parks as she easily gets over aroused and needs slow introductions to other dogs.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a federal 501c3 organization.

All potential adopters must complete the adoption application including veterinary and personal references. In addition, a home check may be required. Adoptions will not be approved without an in-person meeting with the adoptable dog and a volunteer or foster from the rescue organization.
