update- Clarice is doing so much better and is eating well, playing, and exploring when out of her crate.  She met many new adults and children over Christmas and was gentle and friendly with all of them.  She is now interacting with the adult cats in her foster home and doing great with them.  She will continue with her immunications and be spayed and microchipped before final adoption. 
 

Clarice is a tiny 8 week old kitten recently found on a back road in Virginia.  She is very friendly but is underweight and being treated for an upper respiratory infection.
