Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! I am Raven. I am around nine years old and I’m sweet and shy. I like to look at you and stare with my beautiful multi colored eyes. I’ve been sick for a while but I’m so much better now. Being sick left me with asthma but my twice a day inhaler fixes me right up. I’ve met big dogs and little dogs, and with proper introductions, have gotten along with most of them. I do like to mother little dogs and when one is here at our foster home visiting, I never let them out of my sight.
I am crate trained, but nondestructive in the house so I don’t have to go in while foster mom is away. I also know how to use the doggy door and can be trusted in a VERY secure fenced yard. I can dig under though, so let’s make sure my forever understands VERY secure. (giggle behind my paw ‘cause I’m a husky after all). I like to be fed in my crate, and once in a while I go in there for the heck of it.
I don’t really play much, but I don’t mind a nylabone or a peanut butter and kibble filled Kong every now and again. At my foster home, I sometimes take the other foster dog’s toys away from him and lay on them so he can’t play with them. I’m not sure why, it’s just what I do.
I walk really well on a leash and like to get out for a jaunt. I do not find car rides pleasant at all, so just leave me at home and I’ll be here when you get back (remember that secure fenced yard….).
Foster mom and dad told me that the right family is out there for me, even though some call me a senior. They said be patient, and Forever will come for me. I’m looking forward to meeting Forever, and having a place to rest my head in my glory years. Are you my Forever?
