My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, handsome Mikey has endured a tough life. Mikey’s owner has now landed in jail and we know that Mikey went at least a week without food. However, he was tied close enough to a creek that he was able to get water. This probably saved Mikey’s life. Several other dogs were also retrieved from the property but we can only take those for whom we can find a foster or adopt. Cool as a cucumber, Mikey is a fantastic fellow. A cuddler of mega proportions, he adores his humans and gets along with dogs and cats. He walks like a charm on the leash and rolls over for a belly rub.
This American bulldog and boxer mix 3 year old is waiting for his forever home. Mellow Mikey hails from the nearby mountains of NC where he has been tied outside most of his life.
He's been an absolute pleasure to have at the rescue because he's so well behaved and great with everyone. He needs a home or a foster ASAP. Please submit an application and state whether you are able to ADOPT or FOSTER:
