Hi, I'm Mabel!

When I was only 8 months old, Luxe Paws found me and my kittens on Fountain Avenue, just east of Virgil/Hillhurst. I sauntered right into the trap, rolled over & gave the trapper a big meow, grateful to be saved. My kittens found their furever homes, and I was taken in by a truly amazing cat guy. Unfortunately, life has thrown a curveball, and my cat-dad needs to move to care for a family member. He sadly can't take me with him, so now I'm looking for a new furever parent to take me in.

Not to brag, but I'm kind of the perfect mix of affectionate and independent. I'm enthusiastic about cuddles. I will rub my face all over you, make biscuits and occasionally get carried away and give a little love bite. When things are calm, I like to sit next to you on the couch while you read a book or work on your laptop. If people are busy around the house, I'll hang back in my safe spots, like my cat condo, window sill or under the bed where I'll be out of the way. But if you're looking for some quality time, just crouch down and extend a hand - I'll gladly come over for some cuddles.

Like most cats, I get a little wild at night. I'm not a big talker, so hopefully my night-time frolicking wont keep you awake. I would do best in a calm home, but could potentially do well with another kitty roommate to play with.
