Baby Female, Silky Terrier Mix
Hi, my name's Shelby and if I got all my wishes granted, I'd go to a home with other dogs to play with, lots of toys, lots of time with the family and owners who would walk me regularly. I'm a Silky Terrier and I'm a little over 4 months old; I need exercise - what can I say? I have been through puppy socialization and beginner obedience and I have a good head on my shoulders, at least that's what I'm told. I like to be top dog, but I play appropriately even when I'm not. I haven't met a dog I didn't like no matter what their size, and I'm even nice to cats. I love kids, but being a small dog, I hope that if my new family has young children, they will teach them how to play nicely with me so I don't get hurt.
More about me: I am a busy bee and very intelligent. I like to be where the action is. I'm not much of a lap dog; instead, I like to keep busy playing with my dog friends. I really need adequate exercise or I tend to get into trouble. I've never been arrested, but I have been charged with a misdemeanor: Grabbing tissues out of the trash and shredding them. I will cuddle after a day of fun, and love nothing more than to retire to my crate after a long day with a nice bully stick and a big fluffy bed. I really need a strong leader. If you don't call the shots, I will and I'm not equipped to handle that role! I come fully vetted and will be spayed when I reach 6 months of age. I'm a bigtime charmer and will melt your heart. If you are in the business of granting wishes, please grant mine and offer me a good home!
