Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pita is a sweet, pretty German Shepherd mix. She was very scared in the shelter and is still very timid but her wonderful, patient foster family is helping her start to come out of her shell. She will need a home with people who are kind, easy-going and who are interested in gently coaxing this sweetie to trust and accept the love they have to give.
We think Pita would do best in a quiet, loving home with a secure fenced yard. Older children, or another friendly mdium to large dogs would be fabulous. We think she'd be best without cats or small dogs. If you are interested in working on training and helping a very timid, smart, sweet girl learn how loving a home can be, she may be the pup for you.
If you are interested in learning more about Pita, please complete an application by visiting http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt.
Please note that submitted applications will be given priority over inquiries. We receive many inquiries, and may not be able to answer them in a timely manner.
We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover to ensure a good fit for everyone
.
***Please note that we are a volunteer run organization, and due to the large volume of applications, inquiries, phone calls, emails, and messages received we may not be able to provide a personal response to every one. For that reason, formal applications will be given priority over the aforementioned.***
