BUTTERS is approximately 4.5 years old, he weighs 7.5 lbs, and we believe him to be a male Chihuahua/Rat Terrier Mix. Butters has a pink nose and light eyes, a very soft, short haired tan coat with white markings and he will require basic grooming such as bathing and brushing.

Butters is leash and house trained, can use a doggie door, is good with other dogs and we are recommending no young children under the age of 10 yrs old. We don’t know how he is with cats but his new family will need to make sure that he is occupied with toys, etc to keep him busy!

Butters was adopted in June 2022 from us and we were so sad when we recently received a phone call notifying us that his adopter had surrendered him to the Palmdale Shelter. Thankfully, I am on his microchip and we had him picked up and out of the shelter within 2 hours! He’s back with his original foster and he’s doing great.

Butters perfect home will consist of a yard that he can run around and explore in, a home with an owner who will be working from home, or are retired, a family with no children under the age of 12 years old. Butters is current on vaccines, microchipped and is neutered.
