Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Happy is one of a litter of 8 who were dumped under a bridge over the Colorado river. We know they were there at least a month before we were notified of them, but may have been there longer. These little pups were on their own in coyote territory for a long time. Happy is the most socialized of the group and is just a sweet little guy. He loves to cuddle and loves to be close to his people. He still has some fears and trauma he is learning to overcome, but he is doing great at it! He loves to play and is in a foster home with a male and female dog who he loves. He hasn't been tested with cats or kids. We think he will be happiest in a home with another dog to help give him confidence and continue to show him how to "dog" in a house. He is currently in an apartment and having trouble navigating stairs to go out to potty, so we also think he's best suited to a home with a yard, but could be carried up and down stairs if necessary. He's is medium energy level and is ready to chill and cuddle after only short walks.
