MAE is a 4 year old German Shorthair Pointer (40lbs) who is looking for a home with a large yard and lots of room to play. She is looking for an outdoorsy family that enjoys camping, hiking and finding new adventures. Her favorite activities include looking for fish in the river, finding the biggest stick for the campfire and eating all the snacks. She is friendly, energetic, smart and loves all people she meets. She is good with other dogs, but can take a little time to warm up and seems to prefer male dogs. She would do great as an only dog too, as it takes her sometime to gain confidence in her new surroundings, and she is well behaved on her own. She was surrendered to rescue when her owners could no longer keep her due to change in living situation, and really hopes to find a home that will give her time to transition, settle in and feel comfortable so she can show her silly, playful side.
