Say hello to Thatcher! Thatcher is looking for a furever girl. He is approximately 4 years old, neutered, all vaccines up to date, and he LOVES women. Ideally home is one with a woman who takes care of him. A retiree, widow or divorcee would be ideal. He does not appreciate men so much, but he does like some of them, he just has to meet them first. He is currently staying in a home with a man he does like! A busy, high traffic home wouldn’t be the right one for him. Introductions to new people must be done slowly.

He has lived with small dogs before and has done well with them. He has done well with every dog we have seen him with. He does well with cats, too, and does not chase. He currently has a fenced yard, and this would be ideal for him as he likes to sniff around. He was nervous when he first arrived, and fearful of loud noises, but now that he has been with the same foster for almost 5 months he is much more confident and happy. When her grandchildren visit, he goes in her room where his crate and toys are until they leave. He is a chill dog, and a goofy little guy. He does zoomies when outside. He is low maintenance, potty-trained, does not chew on things, he likes cuddling on the couch and going for walkies. He’s currently eating Purina Pro 7 Plan chicken and rice. Pretty much a yes man. The perfect companion, he will listen to you for hours. We would really like him to find a forever home before the holidays!
