My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

'Minnie the maltipoo' :)) Minnie is a little princess whose owner was elderly and went into a care center and Minnie was left without a family, without anyone she knows. She seems a little sad and we want someone very special to adopt her and mend her little heart. We were told she was 8 years old but we're estimating her between 8 and 10.

She has a delightful underbite and is happy to receive attention, but everyone is a stranger in her world right now, so a slow approach is necessary. She doesn't like to be startled or scared, so when picking her up, she needs to see you and know what's going on. If there's a surprise swoop, she will nip, so we don't want her in a home with children who may not think before they approach a hesitant and senior dog.

We're looking for a person or couple, golden hearts, patient, loving, understanding... a new home where her new family will not give up on her after 3 days and knows that it takes time to win over a scared little dog. She just needs a place where she can rest and be pampered for the rest of her life, where she'll be told just how darling she is, and where she'll feel the kind of love she had from her mom ... she deserves to feel this again. Minnie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $120.00.
