My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

* Currently in Texas * Kiwi was the excellent mother to our K-litter (Kyro, Kyzer, and Kaya).

Kiwi is a 55 lb shepherd mix. She was found as a stray with 3 puppies. She is crate and potty trained. Kiwi is good with dogs but not with cats.
Her Texas foster says she ” loves cuddling and being petted!” She is very affectionate.

Please submit an application instead of sending an inquiry even if you just have questions. Sending an inquiry will slow down the process, limit the ways that we can contact you and may send our reply email to your spam folder. Another application could be processed instead of yours for this dog.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, Adopt a Pet and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue and veterinary care of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. The transport fee is an additional $206.89.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.

Ready to Adopt? The next step is to fill out our Adoption Application. A volunteer will contact you to review your application and see if your family might be the right match.
