My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elsie is a sweet, happy, waggy, 7-year-old, 50-60 pound girl with a beautiful brown Merle coloring. Her breeds posted are a total guess!

She came to the rescue malnourished and very sick with ear and skin infections and a deadly pyometra infection which required immediate surgery. She had been sick for quite some time and lost quite a bit of weight, which she is working on regaining. She loves human attention and scratches. As the weather gets cooler she is ready to curl up next to a fire with her forever family. She would prefer a calm, quiet home with older children and can be dog-selective, so no other dogs is preferred. She would love a family with a yard, so she can bask in the sun and take casual strolls on her potty breaks. She is house trained and is pretty good walking on a leash.
