My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Darcy! I am approximately 2 years old. I came to the shelter with my very young kittens as a stray a couple of months ago. I had a nice, relaxing time in foster care, and am now ready for my forever home as a barn cat.

I am a shy cat. It's hard to tell what my experiences were with humans in the past, but I'm wary of them now. My foster person tried to get me to warm to her, but it seems I tolerate petting more at this time rather than really liking it. I'm seeking a mainly outdoor home (with shelters, of course) where I can be myself, and choose whether I'd like to interact with humans.

I have been spayed, micro-chipped, and am up to date on my FVRCP and rabies vaccines. Barn cats like me are free of charge, though donations are always appreciated!
