Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our dogs have been dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped. If old enough they are spayed or neutered, otherwise it will be noted and under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon request and proof of surgery. A transportation fee of $300 is required and covers health certificate to travel as well as transportation.

Charlie has tons of energy and is always ready to play! He is ready to go along on runs, walks, or just some playtime in the yard. Charlie walks on his back legs, dances and jumps up to get you to play with him.
Don’t get us wrong, although he is full of energy (like a monkey on Mt Dew), he will lay beside you or will go in his kennel for some chill out time. He is kennel, leash and potty trained.
Charlie is good with other dogs, but thinks all toys are his and will hoard all of them for himself and will need to eat separately as he does not like to share his food. He thinks he is 200 pounds and tough. More like 15 pounds and 185 pounds of attitude.
Charlie was adopted as a puppy and returned to us. He did not like one of his fur siblings after that dog would come back from the groomers. Our trainers believe it was the smell. He has been in current foster home with dogs of all ages and sizes and plays. Any other dogs in the home will need to be patient as he can be a handful at times.
Charlie will make a great companion; he is a sweet dog. He loves his foster mom’s mother who is a senior and does amazing with her. He actually prefers her over the rest of the family.
Charlie just had his 1st birthday, November 1st. He is current on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered.

Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted.
Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime, Zoom and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.
Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision, or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.
