PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy and has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. BROWNIE is in SALEM, Ohio. HE is fully vetted including: neuter/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while in rescue. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.

Oh,HI there!! I am soooo excited to have you interrupt your day to check me out! My name is BROWNIE, I am around 4ish yrs old and tip the scales at a svelte 44lbs. (Foster mom wanted me to tell you that I appear larger in the pics she takes of me than I actually am) Those are the basics....now let me fill you in on the rest. My buddy and I ended up at the shelter after it was determined that we were in need a lot more care than our owner was able to give us. I then received all the medical care needed to deem me "adoptable" and am currently hanging out in my foster home with 2 canine foster brothers and we are having a BLAST!! Foster mom calls me a "diamond in the ruff" because I will require a family that will supply me with the basic doggie manners that I have (until now) not been taught. Things like no jumping on guests, no counter surfing, sit for treats etc. My potty training is going great but a new home with new routines, new "out" doors etc will require my new family to provide me with patience and consistency. We are working on "sit" before foster mom gives me a treat but it's sooooo hard for me to concentrate on sitting when I am staring at that treat!! I am crate trained, love to go on walks and riding in the car is a really fun adventure for me. I am also learning how to play "fetch", which appears to be just as much fun for me as it is my foster mom and dad lol!! I LOVE all humans and it takes me about zero seconds to warm up to a stranger!! I would do great in a home with other dogs and kids. I should warn you that if you do not like a snuggle buddy then I am not the guy for you. It is my goal (after exercise time) to get as close as possible to my foster parents and with the cold weather upon us, it's a win-win for everyone!! I have a pretty big bark for a smaller guy and will be happy to let you know when someone comes to visit. So to recap, I love all people, great with kids/dogs, crate trained, good on car rides, love walks, could use basic training, and forgot to mention how dang adorable I am....I mean, just look at that squishy face of mine!!
