Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. JACK JR is in SALEM, Ohio. HE is fully vetted including: dental/neuter/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while in rescue. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.

Oh, hey there!! I am soooo excited to have you interrupt your day to check me out! My name is JACK JR, I am around 5ish yrs old and tip the scales at a svelte 15lbs. (Foster mom wanted me to tell you that I appear larger in the pics she takes of me than I actually am) Those are the basics....now let me fill you in on the rest. My buddy and I ended up at the shelter after it was determined that we were in need a lot more care than our owner was able to give us. I then received all the medical care needed to deem me "adoptable".... it was a rough go during my surgery as I had a rather large mass wrapped around my undescended "manhood" (aka testicles)!!! Thank goodness the girls from the shelter rescued me or things may have turned out quite differently for me, yikes!! But, all's good now and I'm ready for my new people to find me. I am currently being fostered by a great lady who has no other dogs and am doing great. I have been fostered with 2 other large dogs and it's been found that I can be a bit on the "bossy" side with other canines. This is only an issue if your dog(s) doesn't appreciate an "in charge" kinda canine sibling. I am great with kids. I enjoy a nice car ride but have a hard time staying off foster mom's lap while she's driving. You see, I'm allll about snuggin with my peeps, following my peeps EVERYWHERE they go and supplying them with as many kisses that they can tolerate!! I walk great on leash as well. Toys? well, until now I wasn't lucky enough to have any so I'm not sure what to do with them. So I could use some instructions in that department! Foster mom says my potty habits are "admirable"! But keep in mind that a new home will mean new routines, so patience and consistency are key. I have not met a human I didn't love, you all seem so easy to please and I am quite the entertaining young man!!
