My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ariel is a sweet and confident little girl who is bursting with love. She’s a tail wagging bundle who lights up near people. Strangers quickly become friends with this little pooch, and her special humans are superstars. While she loves to tug and play, Biscuit also loves to snuggle on the sofa and take naps next to humans.

She badly wants to please, and is well on her way to being fully housebroken. She’s learned to sit by the door, or use a potty pad in a pinch. With some patient training, she’s also picked up come and sit.

She is currently with her sister, and they go well into their crate together when it’s naptime or sleep time. The pups currently can go 7 hours without accident overnight but foster parents suspect Biscuit might be able to go longer if not for her sister who is a tad of an early riser.

Because she’s such a love bug, she can be a bit of a Velcro puppy. While she’s of petite stature, she has a surprising vertical leap to hurdle over barriers that are between her and the family, and sometimes barks to remind you to come back.

While she’s done quite well in her foster family who has a 7-year-old, she can be particular about how she is lifted in very specific situations. So older kids might be better in this scenario.

Foster parents wanted to give a head’s up that she’s one who gets quite carsick – even in short drives. A calming shirt, and spray seem to help a little in these situations. Till she grows out of it, car rides might be a two person adventure – one to drive and one to tend to her. However, they wanted to underscore how very sweet this little puppy is.
