Meet Benny! Benny is approx., 2-year-old Lab/pointer mix, that weighs approx. 65 pounds. Benny is calm for the most part is young, but does equally enjoy playing. He does fine around other dogs and has been around cats before. He can be at times full of energy and he is still pretty much full of rambunctiousness! Benny rides great in a car and does fine on a leash, but does require more leash training. He is extremely loving and affectionate and only wants to be loved and hugged. He enjoys belly rubs and kisses. He understands cues like sit, down and he thinks its playtime when you try to get him to go in his crate. He does jump up at times and will counter surf, so keeping things up minimizes the temptation. He is like most young dogs, a little mouthy like a puppy when he plays but has improved significantly since being with SSLR. He will do best in a home that has a stay-at-home or work-from-home family member that can give him the attention he requires. He loves attention, playtime and must have a fenced-in yard to romp around in or given plenty of activity. He is housebroken and crate trained and has never had any accidents. He has a wonderful disposition and is just an all-around fabulous boy!
