My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brooks, a special kitty with a heart as big as her love for cuddles! Brooks and her sister Dunn were orphaned and came into our care when they were just 48 hours old. From the beginning, it was clear that Brooks was unique. She was born with a rare genetic condition called Flat Chest Syndrome, which affects her chest shape and size.

Despite her challenges, Brooks is a resilient sweetheart. She has received specialized care from Meowtown Animal Rescue and a Specialty Feline Veterinarian. While her condition may pose some health considerations, Brooks is a fighter, and with the right care, she's thriving. During her spay procedure, adjustments were made to accommodate her unique needs, and it was discovered that her heart is smaller than average. As a result of this and her flat chest, she requires gentle exercise and regular breaks during playtime to avoid getting short of breath.

Born 6/8/2020

Brooks' right paw has a closed growth plate, limiting its movement, but it hasn't dampened her spirit. She's an adventurous explorer, always eager to investigate every nook and cranny with her sister Dunn by her side. Although she may be a bit shy at first, Brooks is incredibly affectionate once she warms up to you. She adores belly rubs and loves nothing more than curling up in a cozy lap for pets.
Due to her special needs, Brooks would thrive in a calm home environment without small children.

She is bonded with her sister, Dunn, and would need to be adopted together. Both girls would make a wonderful addition to a loving family willing to provide them with the care and attention they deserve. If you're looking for a courageous companion with a heart of gold, Brooks is the perfect match for you!
