My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET DOTTIE!

This adorable house panther is named Dottie! She's around 12 years old and joined City of Elderly Love from a local shelter where she had been residing for some time but experiencing health issues that required a relaxing foster home to recover from. Now that she's healthy and thriving, Dottie is ready to find her family!

Don't let Dottie's adorable scowl fool you.. any petting prompts immediate purrs! She has medium length fur that's soft, almost fluffy. While recovering in foster care, she's even gained a cute little round belly! Dottie is hard of hearing and sleeps most of the day, but her internal clock works perfectly. She's up demanding dinner whenever she feels it's time to eat. Dottie takes a small amount of a steroid daily to manage her chronic tummy issues which help keep her feeling great. She isn't hard to medicate and doesn't hold a grudge after you give it to her. This sweet little teddy bear lives with other cats who are willing to let her rule the roost. She's also currently in foster care with small dogs who are used to being around cats and don't bother them much. She'd do well with other low-key animals like herself. But she would also be happy having you all to herself!

Dottie is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is also FIV and FeLV negative. Interested in adopting her? Visit www.cityofelderlylove.org to complete an online adoption questionnaire or email us at info@cityofelderlylove.org!
